Posted elsewhere, posting more pics here. Really wanted to get fender tag with more clarity on digits. Here it is, such as it is. The car is sitting beside Lewis Recyclers at Flat Lick, KY off US Hwy 25E.

Amazingly, when that organic stuff was scooted aside, the floor is fairly solid/salvageable. Someone gets credit for keeping it off the ground. PS I have no interest in this car either personal or financial.

Hate to see it crushed. At the very least, the bumpers, grille, and tail lights look good. I’m too far away, otherwise I’d check it out.

Lots of usable parts for the discerning eye. Glass, bumpers, trim, grille, interior bits. Electric window model, door electric windows switches still present. Wheel control stereo is present. Area between rear glass and trunk lid is soft with rust. Appears transmission is still present. Rear end also?

70, no letters on quarters, sold tail light
grilles are "little" different
I'm sure there are more for others to mention. I prefer the '69, but i like them all.

Yes. Am thinking this was a sleek, beautiful car in all white, when new. Thanks for the info. I think the script letters on the flanks are subtle and extra cool.

The '69 does not have the wrap-around rear bumper like the '70.
And the grill has a cross bar in the center, not found in the '70 model.

You know of them?? I tried to call to see if they had any records of cars from 1970, but the Millennial on the phone didn’t even realize there were cars before 2000.

Yes it is the typical mega dealership family of brands you find in many medium sized American cities. Yeah I wouldn’t expect to get much history. You might have some fun looking through old advertisements from micro-fiched / digitized archive records of Louisville Courier-Journal newspaper from that era to see if Sam Swope Chrysler put ads in the paper about special sales? Maybe find a 1970 listing for a 300 coupe price? Just a thought. Would require some research online, of course.

I have an old Motor’s Manual (mechanics reference) from 1970 with black and white images of cars front ends to ID them. Don’t know why I didn’t think to check that. I see the differences. Back then they changed styling almost every year, had to keep them “fresh”.
