Maybe they will start to be valued to where they should be. They have been undervalued since their inception.

What they are worth on B-J and what they are worth in the every day real world are two very different things. One world is surreal and the other isn't. Since my car will never go up on B-J the surreal world price means nothing to me. All that matters is what someone will hand over to me, in cash, in my driveway in a limited market. I'm pretty sure not many here would have handed over 500 $100 bills for that car.

Your car isn't a Hurst , but regardless it may be a sign of positive things to come. Cs are undervalued, maybe just maybe they are starting to get noticed .

so..... on one hand it's good to see the values going up... especially if you have deep pockets and $$ is no object. On the other hand for the hobbyist or average guy who isn't looking at strictly an investment and wants to drive, have fun and appreciate (not in $$ but for what they are or to remember the past) it may price them out of the market. Look at the A, B and E body prices...thats where we're headed?????

No, but it does help cease the destruction of restore-able cars and helps parts cars get parted and not just crushed . It also helps aftermarket parts get manufactured.

I don't think they'll ever reach the unobtainium highs for average hobbyists. Just a bit higher so not every mediocre defect relegates it to be more sensible to just give up on the car and get another nice one for 3 Grand to run it into the ground by lack of Money to Keep it well maintained.
And the Versions without a droptop or Hardtop will be affordable forever just check Forward Look cars of These Body styles, even they were affordable, even on the height of desirability which already passed IMHO.

The more I see of these Hurst cars, the more I hate 'em.
It seems every time a 300 Hurst shows up here, I get the feeling “there goes the neighborhood!”

Yea an he got it home and saw it in the light of day and then thought he'd dump it @ BJ... FAIL!

Funny, I thought the same thing. After an alcohol fueled bidding frenzy the guy woke up the next morning and thought “WTF??”, then drove all night to Phoenix.

Have to agree with Carsten, doubt it’s someone schooled in C bodies, but then again maybe that’s our problem. Could also be a Hurst collector that’s gotta have ‘em all, so basically a GM guy. Regardless, you don’t spend that kind of coin and then Donk it, so we shouldn’t be worried. Now I have to get busy, I’m going to list my “parts” car as “Fits 300 H, easy restoration”. See y’all on easy street....

Are you being serious or joking around. If serious, how do you know this?

Maybe serious maybe joking around, was going on the "cars look prettier on TV line" someone posted up, and do we know it was a at auction bidder or a online bidder that won?
