1970 B5 Sport Fury GT...Critters folly....back to basics

Sadly I’m in Montana at the moment entertaining family from Germany until next week , can’t work on my C Body’s for another week

You underestimate me sir...I am quite capable of doing stupid stuff still...and the only Formal for me is living 4400 kms away. Maybe a cruise that ends nearby and drive home would work mmmm
Nope... I would never underestimate you. Merely a preemptive strike, intended to goad you into attending Carlisle, before you manage to redraw my trip next year so I have to drive across Canada to get there.

On the bright side, I might get to see the local C bodies that way...

Great find and B5 to boot! I'm usually a 100% correct, stock restoration guy but this one has me thinking. Being as the original drivetrain is long gone, why not install a modern HEMI driveline instead? Everything else would be 1970 except what's between the fenders. I think that would be pretty cool and after seeing your work and attention to detail, I think you could pull it off very tastefully.

My vote would be to keep these increasingly rare GT finds all original - whatever it came with as stipulated on the body code plate. If you want to modify the engine at all, I would choose a regular Fury and make a GT clone if you have to and do then what you want to it. No one would care.

I personally prefer vinyl tops on all C body 2 doors, but my GT came without one and that is the way I am leaving it.

White vinyl would look great with the B5.

Sold it.......efi will b the way to go......was thinkin you have a parts blaster don't ya Bill?
Parts blaster = sand blaster cabinet - sold it.
EFI sounds liked a good option.
You already have a "factory perfect" GT, build this one as a fun car.
You still need to drive the '71 and take me for a spin. I've never been in such a fancy car. LOL

welp...fellas got start somewhere...Sadly l have no more kidneys so this one wont make it to Idaho and Pauls...this GT is under my care now that l have time...
Now just where to start....seein as the grill is what draws me to these car may as well start with grill and keep on goin till l run outa parts...sounds logical
Seeing as everything in this car has been taken out lve gotta sort all this **** out as to what it is and where the heck dose it go....
Being as l have the 71 handy figured it best to sort through all the trim...lots of it..cpl pieces missin and a few pieces lve not seen on a fury
As for my dash...RIP...it made it 48 years...lookin for a dash...big hint...managed to get Vin tag and oem rivets out with a punch....wanted to have original rivets for next dash ...
also on the hunt for a hood light receptable for ao1 light package..missing one..also huntin a dome light
