Thank you @T-revorNobody for posting. This is the second 1970 300 'vert for sale you found today! @challenger, your asking price sure seems competitive in light of this Finnish ad.

More pics would be helpful at that price, including the engine bay -- I sure would like to know if it is a real TNT. This said, in the FB pictures, this 300 'vert looks to be DR8 and in nice cosmetic shape. Inside, the slight difference in color between the seats (white) and side panels (slight shift toward cream) suggests that the former have been (correctly) reupholstered. I wonder what is under the dash, in front of the buddy seat?

It's not on "Nettiauto", which is the leading web-page for used car sales in Finland. - I wonder if he even really tries to sell it; how many takers does he think he will get by hiding the "For Sale" ad into Facebook? The asking price is salty, even if it were as nice as it seems to be. (It has to be in pretty good shape to qualify for museum registry in Finland. Either a very well preserved original, or a genuinely restored one.)

I think this is one of those "look mom, I'm trying really hard to sell it, but there are no takers..." kind of ad.

This is the second time I didn't get a note of you mentioning me in your post...

Well, as 330dTA said above, the price of this one is very, very high.

If the seller is serious about selling, he needs to cut the price down to the serious looking numbers...

Very strange. Let me see if you get this one. @furyfinn

I betcha the power windows don't work. . .

The FB ad was removed yesterday. Thanks to the help of an FCBO member, I was able to reach out to the owner and to ask him about the history of the car for historical purposes. I was told that the car was shipped to Finland from California back in 2013.

Does anyone remember this burgundy TNT 'vert from back then? I have not been lucky searching for it. @saforwardlook @Big_John

I don't remember this car specifically, although I do recall seeing that color combo, possibly on a car that was for sale. Possibly the same car?? I don't know.

CM27T0C142427 went for sale in 2013, and again in 2015 and was discussed on FCBO both times. Burgundy, but unfortunately not the same car (different interior colors, radios, A/C, etc.).

Good reminder to add CM27T0C142427 to the Last Convertibles thread for records.

Since it came from California, it is very likely one of the ones I sold to Finland in that timeframe as I do recall having at least two burgandy ones in my collection (and one of the ones I sold over there did have that non-factory white stripe at the back of the car) before I liquidated virtually all my convertibles and many went to Finland. In total, one of the guys over there kept count and noted that I have sold some 34 cars over there in the last 25 years or so (not all convertibles though). After a few sales to some folks over there, I established a good reputation for not selling junk or cars not properly described, so a couple sales led to a lot more (many folks in Finland and Europe in general have a bad view of sales of cars from the U.S. because many of the cars they have received from the U.S. have had a bunch of undisclosed problems including major rust that is not mentioned/revealed, so it was easy for me to sell over there since I refuse to do that).

Over time, however, I have not kept track of the VINS or other details of the cars I let go. Both of the ones that were burgandy (one with a white interior and the other one with a black interior) did have U code engines I do recall. So I am probably the one that sold it.

So we can conclude that it really was a U-code car. And as it went fast (pun intended), it really must have been a very nice specimen. I wonder where it ended up.
By the way, @ayilar, how did you end up with the number 130 of these 300 vert U-codes having been made?

So we can conclude that it really was a U-code car.
I would say "most likely" rather than "really" -- we won't know till a photo of the engine bay and/or the tag shows up.

how did you end up with the number 130 of these 300 vert U-codes having been made?
The numbers I have are actually "just over" 130 U-code 1970 Chrysler 300 'verts: 103 US (take or give 1, depending on how percentages round off) and 32 Canada.

So the ad is gone, but did it really sell or did the owner change his mind?
