71 was still good but we are heading downhill now

It would be alot cooler done up as a "what if" 71 300 Vert instead of the overdone boring Hurst look. Ya seen one, ya have seen em all.

Hmmm.... That could be done without a lot of drama...

I've had this fuselage Imperial convertible dream for a while. I've seen a couple parts cars (both) that would be great donors. I saw one Imperial 'vert here a few years ago that was OK, but wasn't done the way I would. But it's a dream and not something that I'm going to pursue as I don't want to do a project.

The '71 idea.. Grille and taillight swap and leave the rest alone. I think the bumpers are the same. That could be interesting. I have to ponder that.

EDIT: Front bumper is different. Parking lights moved to bumper for '71 300 and looks like the '70 Newport/New Yorker bumper. '70 300 parking lights in the grille.

I also disagree " across the board".
The 71 Es were much nicer than the 70. The 70 B dodge is my favorite outside B body but inside, 71.
