This is the last week this car will be listed for sale. if it doesn't sale I will pull the engine and transmission and rear end and scrap the car. I am hoping somebody will give this car a good home. I have lowered the price to $3000. 1970 Chrysler 300 2dr ht. 440 4 barrel high performance automatic. sure grip differential with 3.73 gears. car has 63000 original miles. transmission was rebuilt 5 years ago with high performance bands and high pressure valve body with shift kit. body is in good shape with some minor rust issues. interior needs carpet, headliner and driver seat repaired. all and all the car is in good shape for the year. the car can only be driven a very short distance because the brakes are scraping in the front. needs brakes to drive, which I have. I have had this car for years and hate to sell it but I have another project I am working on. asking $3,000 obo. call my cell at 228-342-5081 or my home number is 502-365-4217 for more info. nick. this car is unique and very rare. I have a video of the car running but can't post it here however if you go to youtube and search cowboy40215 there are some videos of the car there as well. please serious buyers only I want to see this car go to a good home.

I'm robbing a bank this afternoon for this baby.

You should consider a short term 3k loan, as the 300 would look fantastic as the "get-away-car"...!

Edit ~ Added video of the beast... (I am in love.. but saving this one, will be 1½ x the purchase price in shipping alone.. :-(

That's in nice shape, solid floors and complete white interior. That's a poor man's Sport Fury GT right there, only 4 inches longer.

Just presented the idea of buying for my wife... it didn't go well !

I have NOS tail lenses for it, and a set of new white legendary front seat covers.. and a nice grill.. and about 1½ set of moldings in my garage.. and a Hurst deck lid, with the rear fender extensions..

Although slightly sacrilige, it would look sharp as a "black Hurst", with the white interior :p

It's WAY to good to scrap ! I sincerely hope, that he's just threatening to do so !

Black? Isn't it already B7? That's way more snazzy than boring colorless black

Well, yes.. Jubilee blue is not a bad color at all.. but all my visualizations in my "wannabe Hurst dreams" has been with a black car for years... I'll try to paint it in my next dream!

How abt. the "sacrilege part".. Any comments on that?

:-D

Only Carsten/plum crazy could possibly succumb to that threat.

I posted this in a C Body forum on facebook today and got mocked mercilessly for thinking this car was worth saving. Glad to see that people here think that it is worthwhile.

Kaspar,

I am scared.
A colour change is a real "no go" to me.
If you want a black car: You have to wait for the right "TX9" car. No other solution IMHO.

If you want a tx9 Chrysler 300 from 1970 in tx9 black: Go and deal with user "samplingman"-James.
He owns one and wants to part it out for his convertible. No joke. It has a white interieur.

The EB7 blue needs to be saved, great colour, great car!

Carsten

Craigslist guys either have a hose in the picture, a threat in the ad, or an interior full of junk which they couldn't clear out before taking a picture. Sometimes they are just too stupid for me to deal with.

Just WTF are you doing on FB in the first place. Having some kind of online manlove going on with Ross (stormer)?

Typical idiot CL/ebay ad. Threatening to "scrap" the car. Obviously, these fine examples of our government school output can't do math. Let's see..."If I don't get $3K for this by the end of the week, I'm gonna pull the engine and trans, and scrap (sometimes it's "Scrape") the rest." The engine and trans MIGHT bring a grand IF the buyer can hear it run and drive the car; otherwise, it's $750 or less. Hauling the rest to the scales right now isn't gonna bring what it's worth to haul it and the gas money! He might get $200 for the car in most of the country right now...some places LESS! Yup, them's good math skillz right there! Sell for $3K, or scrap for somewhere from $200 to a grand. He probably has $500 in the car as it sits.
