1970 chrysler 300H. Hurst edition with a console shifter and bucket seats. Numbers matching 440 TNT motor. Not many of these around. This car runs and moves around on its own, but needs a fair amount of work. Potential restoration car, or parts for your project. I have too many commitments, and don't see myself getting to this anytime soon.

A blank Canvas for sure, doesn’t look like much to undo, but plenty to re-do. Looks fairly rust free? If I were closer I would probably go look at it. I would have to step up my upholstery game for the seats.
For $10K I could have it in my garage and then another $60-70k or more, it could be ready to go?

That's exactly the problem. We've talked here about the "step function" cost of bringing a Hurst back from the dead because this is a car that doesn't lend itself to making it a just a "driver" It's all or nothing. Patina is not good. And after all that cost and work and headache, you can't sell it for $40K.

Gotta love the trailer hitch. What were they towing....a trailer with a Superbird on it?

Definitely not for a flipper. It would take a true hobbyist that has time on their hands and good cash flow that does it for the challenge. I am glad it’s not closer to me as I am starting to look for retirement projects. But need to (should/ want to) add on to the garage first.

I see your point, but even those two things are a lot of work, certainly the interior. And.....you're gambling on the tip of the iceberg. Do the brakes work while you're driving the snot out of it? :wideyed:

The body looks sound enough. For the price of the car and another 20 you could drive this till your death and be happy about it.

Good news is Legendary does offer the leather seat covers. ~$3,500 for the front and rear. Gotta strip down to the bare frames, so I'd say it might be time to call in a pro for that.

This is CM23U0C196859 -- it is already in the @Trace 300 Hurst database because it was for sale in July 2022 (I mis-tagged it in that thread as CM27U0C196859 ).

At the 6K price in 22' I think it was a reasonable price.
With it's issues I would think 5-6K would be a good price still to pick it up at.
In all honesty, I can't see the road through the trunk while I drive it.
I would have a difficult time turning that down for 6K.
Polish, replace a few parts and drive it a few times a week.

Do we have the door tag/ fender tag for this one?
I have this car in the Registry with a VON, but no Door Date. @ayilar is reaching out to the seller for it. I'd love to have it, because it's right where it could be a March or April car. I'm guessing April.

I bought & sold this interior a couple of years ago. Wouldn't be 100% correct, but would've worked.

It was hung on the wall in my shop. The plan was to have it light up with a switch on the wall, but never got around to doing that.
