What I have found out when I was playing with my HURST cars . . . all (3) of my cars came from Crosstown motors (yes I did have 3 Hurst cars, 2 were serial number sequential !!) . . . one of the cars I bought from original owners daughter . . . he had been going to Crosstown Motors to look for a "new" company car (he worked for a oil field TOOL company), he saw a semi coming in with FIVE 300Hurst cars, and pointed at one, telling the salesperson, that was the car he wanted !!! Damn, I would love to have a 300Hurst as my "company car" . . . heh heh heh . . . anyhow, just a tid bit of ancient history! . . . Back in the day, with the oil money flowing in Alberta, yes, many cars were sold ! . . .Alberta (the province Red Deer is in) has always had a lot of oil money and the 70's where a boom. Crosstown Motors in Edmonton which is a few hours north of Red Deer sold a lot of high dollar Mopar products back in the day even more so considering the population at the time.
