I was wondering if you were still going there today.

Ya this car has been on my mind for weeks. Really nice guy was selling it for the second owner who bought it in '71 with 8000kms. He didn't know what the car was all about as he was a Chevy guy (beautiful 72 Nova sittin in the same quonset). It has the usuall electrical problems lights power window motors but hideaways did move just not by the headlight switch. Had the original spare in trunk along with a framed print of the car in better days and some books and parts. Interior is great vinyl top frayed at bottom of rear window but didnt see any rust under it or in the trunk. Ill get a better look in the shop along with some better pics. Waiting for a Chinook to bring it home lol

Sorry Jasunday I was talking about my 300 not yours but im sure its nice too

Nice looking car. I wonder how much rust.

Thanks Fred - lifted the trunk mat up just the usual surface stuff
all the door edges good
inner fenders good
under back window suspect there will be issues
bumpers chrome and pot metal looks good for age
rockers looked good
Until I get it in the air I wont know the rest

Congrats on getting the car. I like the colour combo. Hopefully it is very solid it all the right places. I really don't see how you could go wrong for $2500. Best of luck with it.

Well boys I told you I couldn't stay away from this one! Went and saw the man today. The car was a lot better than I thought! 4 pumps of the pedal she started right up even tho it was -20C here last night! Stored in a nice dry quonset (dome shed) had very little rust and the interior was excellent. Check out the fender tag options below had lots to talk about this one! I quickly seperated myself from $2500 cash ($1800 USD) and became the proud owner! I'll post some better pictures when I get it in the shop as it was too frickin cold to stand around snapping photos. These will have to do for you all in the meantime.

Thanks 69CoronetRT for the decode on the rear heater. Both the 70' and '66 have the rear heat option and yes the heater hoses run from front to back. The 66 car has been bypassed under the hood but the blower still works. The 70 car blower is slow but turns. Need these at -20 to keep the rear window clear....like I'll be driving them at that temp but want a working restoration.

That's a sweet find... I'm sure its work twice what you paid in parts alone... I'm also sure it found the right home.
