Thank you, Fury Pursuit, for your insightful comments! That is what makes this site so great. I really thought for a while, that this particular car was just getting undeserved basking. Obviously I was wrong, and it is a parts car, or closing in that stage.

I was going to buy this car in 1988. $2500. Back then it had a wrecked quarter panel; totally wiped out. It's been repaired,...a kind of OK repair. I like this car, but it was ridden hard and put away wet. It's got too much rust for the asking price. It needs a bare metal re-paint and rust repair. That's at least $10K today. And when I looked at it recently, none of the accessories were working. Lights, dash, wipers, fan etc,.

But it's a super rare Formula S 300!
Is this the same owneri since 1988?

Apparently it's pretty rough based on those who have seen it, but let's not call it a parts car just yet.
2dr original TNT cars in this condition shouldn't be parted out.
I'm not suggesting it's a good financial prospect to restore it, heaven knows that's one of my first assessments on a FS car - just put it in the hands of a po-boy like me who can give it sanctuary and perk it up a little.
