I own a 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst with original trunk panels/card boards (or Dress up kit, black, with a strukture on it, see pictures).
They are in a not so good shape bc of water damage at the lower edge.
Does anybody know where I can buy/order new ones?
Thank you

I am pretty sure that the late Gary Goers was reproducing these items. Quirey Quality Design bought Gary's business Quirey Quality Design Give them a call.

How did these items differ from what was already used on the New Yorker models? Or Chrysler 300s? Even Imperials? I somewhat suspect that those are not unique to the 300-Hurst cars?

The other side of this deal is that I suspect that textured-surface material is around somewhere in the wholesaler network, just need to uncover it via the use of a larger upholstery shop with access into a larger upholstery supplier/wholesaler. Like a larger regional distributor of sorts. Starting with a willing local upholstery shop is the first step.

A side issue . . . reach down into the recess near the inner edge of the quarter panel and seek out a plastic drain plug in that area. Carefully pop it out, clean out ALL accumulated stuff, and let things dry out in that recess! Might even need to clean and repaint it with rust-encapsulator paint! Do both sides! When done, clean and reinstall the plastic plug.

Happy Holidays!

Make a pattern of what you have, source some heavy cardboard and make them yourself. Rustoleum makes a variety of textures in a spray can, then finish with matte black.

Looks the same as 1970 New Yorker, they have those long "tails" on them.

.060 thick textured black ABS plastic would also make a reasonable facsimilie.

Place it on a table, the originals on top (both facing the correct direction vs the texture), put a cement block on to help flatten, and work around with painter's tape, flattening and taping them together. Mark around with a silver Sharpie or paint pen. Mark dots where the folds/bends need to be.

It would then cut easily with these long-nose snips, and a good utility knife could cut out the detail items. (I recently discovered these snips, and the long nose is superior to the typical 'Wiss' style, IMO)

For any folds, clamp the ABS to a piece of .75" wood, clamp a 2nd piece on teh other side of the ABS, heat with a heat gun, and fold over to make the crease.

The debur tool would then take any sharp edges off for safe handling.

Thank you for all your answers!
My problem is that I live in Switzerland/Europe and don't have access to all this specific material.
As I said, I was contacted by Remauto Inc. USA, but strangely the contact was lost.

also believe the trim set is from a Chrysler New Yorker. It was not originally located in Hurst.

Still, it looks good!

One more:
I have another strange thing that I'm stuck on.
I bought this power window switches 10 years ago from a man in Switzerland who claimed it was original Hurst.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

None of those items are from a Hurst. The round 300 is from 1969, the words are for 1970, but were deleted with the Hurst. The wood grained switches are interesting, but not from any 1970 300 model, maybe New Yorker?

Perhaps the power window switches are from an Imperial, as the seats were? As I recall, any interior upgrades, considering the very low production volume of that model, came from other Chrysler products, as the seats from a production Imperial.

Yes, unique to the Hurst cars, but NOT unique to other higher-level Chrysler vehicles.

Happy Holidays,

The switches:
I once owned a '69 Plymouth Suburban station wagon with wood like side panels.
Maybe it's from this type of car?

Those are the dress up package used on an Imperial. The 300 call out letters were never used w/ the Hurst package nor was the 300 emblem.
