They're giving them away in California! That she'll would get 3 times that here in Mn.

I'll be damned, if that is not the same car, that went for $1600, with the engine still in it! I hate too see that happen!

Yeah I hate to see this sort of thing also. Holding on to my fuselage car tighter and tighter everyday. There aren't gonna be any left soon except for the dummy derbies.

Too bad I do not have a place to put this, there are a lot of good parts. Cruise Control, steering coupler heat shield...
I could make that money back easily, just doesn't pencil out to try and put an engine back in it for a 4-door hardtop unless that is the car you were after but you could probably find one with an engine for $1500-$2000

Is that so? How about a two door?

This is a 4-door, a 2-door would probably be more.
I have been told I am cheap when it comes to buying cars but I guess I have been real lucky in finding cheap cars.

I had a similar New Yorker 4-door Hardtop. The one on this thread would be worth maybe 5000€ here as it is, IF it had an engine. (You get dollars by multiplying by 1.05). - But it would cost me north of 4000€ to get it here (shipping & taxes). And it doesn't have an engine or tranny anymore. Those would be 5-6 thou more up here. So I think I pass this one. - I'll wait for the 2-door to pop up. It must be a '70, it must be a New Yorker, and it must be complete.

This seller, Alex, is the guy who bought the car obviously to strip the drive train out. The car moved from the Peninsula out to the Sacramento region.
