1970 Chrysler New Yorker four door sedan. Legendary Chrysler 440 with 727 Torqueflite HD transmission and 2.76:1 Positive Traction rear end. Power disc brakes, power locks, power windows, power vent windows, Front and rear heat and defrost, A/C, AM radio with 8 track player. Not perfect, but overall in very good condition. Tires are dry rotted, but hold air. Asking $7,500, cash or trade.

My hunch is that it's a decent car, but if you look at it around the edges you'll be disappointed at paying $7500 for it.

Has all the right options! Including those extra cost wheel covers.
No Auto-Temp!
The car has good bones and the 4 door sedans have a quiet and firm ride.
Could use underhood detailing, fresh carpeting, vinyl top and possibly body and paint.
4500.

With virtually every option you could get except Autotemp (a very good reality) and over 100K miles and no mention of what works and what doesn't, one can pretty much be sure disappointment is in the cards. Listing says the usual "no significant damage or problems" but when you add up all the items that probably don't work, that becomes a major problem.

It is very clean inside though and surprisingly little wear on the upholstery and other trim items.

@saforwardlook
Yeah, I thought the interior was really rich-looking and made this car. But the outside, not as much.

@cbarge
$4500 is about what I was thinking, too.

This is a car you buy to have a daily-driver C-body that you can take care of (as a tool), but not one that you get attached to.
A car that you know you'll part out if anything happens to it - and you make the list of keep/sell within the first few weeks of ownership.
