I just saw a post on the mopar trader page on facebook. The guy pulled a 1970 Chrysler newport out of the barn it's been sitting since 1978, he's parting out everything is for sale but the drive train.....

Right..... But the fact that the car had been stored since it was 8 years old. I think it would deserve to be returned to the road, not stripped, and junked. I sent the guy a message.... Just waiting to hear back from him........

True barn finds often have rust issues due to the unsealed ground and often some rodent related Problems as well. Hope this one had more luck.
The ones I saw coming out of dry garages, even if they were without Ventilation almost everytime looked better.

Where was the car located? I see you're in Boerne, I#m in the DFW area. Would be interested in the car. Love to see it saved, but if not I could use the passenger door.
