I've seen this kind of creativity way too often. If you're unsure that you will keep it why do highly personal mods like cutting holes in the hood and bumper? It will be a hard sell.
 
I think that'd be a good buy at $7500 or so due to it needing expensive bodywork and paint.
Great colors.
Rust-free, new seatcovers in a matching color that look like they were properly done.
Change the hood if you must, get a replacement rear bumper, and it would be no different than similar project cars we'd be pushing each other out of the way to buy.
Sell the wheels/tires and maybe be even-money on a set of Road Wheels and whitewalls.
