@ayilar

The mirrors look fine but the scoops must go. Interior needs changed, Black or White (not both).

This one could be interesting as this Lakeland County is not situated in Florida.

I am usually a big proponent of originality, but in this case the interior sort of works (sorry for the red X, @SportFury). It would be better with white interior panels too, but hey, that's just me. Having scoops on a 318 (as stated in the ad) makes little sense to me, though, so one could think of the paint and "additions" as things to take care of at some point in the future. I wonder if the paint is close to the original color: it seems metallic (so not ER6) but not dark (so unlikely to be DR8).

AFAICT, the driver-side rear quarter panels were worked on and the job was not good -- the curve is very different from the original, as seen on the driver-side quarter. The car also seems to sit quite low in the rear.

FWIW, this car is the second 1970 Canadian Polara 'vert of which I did not know about, that would be good to add to the registry started by @polara71. Like the new-to-me green one spotted in Ontario, this seems like a low-option car.

--> @Welder guy, it'd be great to get your opinion on the car! Any info for the registry (ideally the fender tag) would be good too, even if not for public posting.

Another thing to consider is the cost of a repaint since it may be difficult to exactly match the existing paint to a repainted hood. As for mirrors re-pops are out there but find decent used ones is more of a challenge.

Edit these aren't correct but I've seen them recently online just can't locate them now.
I think the 70 Chrysler mirrors have a angled mounting base. I have a set on o a 69 N/Y parts car that may work on this car. I don’t think the a body Mirrors have the proper mounting base angle. I’m sure someone with more knowledge on these cars can tell us for sure. I did a quick search on the eBay and this is what I found NOS 69 70 71 1969 1970 1971 CHRYSLER 300 POLARA MÓNACO EXTERIOR REMOTE MIRROR | eBay

Yup that's it and cheaper than the NOS example I found.:thumbsup:

Now finding a good hood will be a pain. There can’t be to many of those around. I have to say I haven’t seen a 70 Monaco or Polara up close and personal yet.

I bet you could repair the hood. They may be dummy scoops and there may only be small screw or rivet holes to fill. It's even possible that they are held on with glue or two sided tape.

That would be great if they were stuck on, that's possible. If not, I have a good original hood Marlow!

I didn’t plan on buying it but it sure is good to know there are parts locally for it if needed. I will try to get a look at it as soon as I can. I’m will be away for work for at least a week.
