NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Convertible in Good Condition For Sale - NOT MINE

Those cool hood scoops make me want to pay $50G's for it!

O'Hagin attic vents would even look better than those. I think they're dryer wall vents....

Thasnks for carrying the baton @68PK21 440.6bbl , you dug further than I cared to.
In some sort of attempt at grace, ebay now limits a rolling-average of 12 mos on feedbacks, so it give folks a chance for the past to become the past?
Yeah there has been changes to sellers vs buyers that eekBay has made over the years and I haven't been following or able to keep up but the basic rule from years ago still applies with if the seller has less than a 99% positive rating they are ones to avoid. Now I've given a 98% positive seller a chance on a small low cost item and have negative results with having to leave a neg starting with "Order from a China seller, you will get it quicker" plus the item was damaged and I didn't feel like going through the eBay claim return yada yada for a low priced item.

Back in the very early days of eekBay there were what was known as 'Penny Positive' sellers on the 'Bay where sellers could buy a <ahem> digital item (most likely a small .gif) for 1¢ to get a positive buyer rating to skew out the neg's they have gotten and get their positive rating back up. eBay has long since done away with those sellers but the same can be accomplished with low priced items ie office supplies etc.

The rule also for sellers of high price items was that they should have a separate account for just selling as they could still level out the negatives with massive buying of low cost items to gain positive reviews. You have to read through the selling vs buying positives to get a good judgement on whether you want to do any buying from sellers. Then what I've come across and found is some buyers leave a positive but are very negative in the comments, this is to avoid retaliatory negatives to which eBay has made changes to sellers which they cry about. Then there are just plain idiots... mostly foreign that get around 'USA buyers only' via a broker and are disappointed with the tariffs/tax/custom surcharges, length of time shipping (months) as items go through customs. So you got to do a little 'due diligence' so to say.
Roll of the dice at times...

Last I checked of Gateway, Lakeland etc. was their positive rating was at a 83% level and hadn't moved much. I think I got a screenshot somewhere. Even Mark Wormhead's store(s) has been down in the positive dump at times.

50% has got to be the worst I have seen on ebay. That's a horrible feedback score.
