I think I would be more concerned about the lack of title on it in my opinion than if the fenders were swapped out. Just my 2 cents though

On AC, mine has H51 too. But why wouldn't a 318 have auto temp?

It likely was on the option list, but would be an expensive upgrade for a "basic" car. I'd bet it has the manual A/C and is just misstated, as are several things about the car.

The lack of a title depends on where you are I guess. Here in Bama a title is not required for vehicles older then 1972. Show up with a "bos" and it's yours as long as the VIN matches. After that it can be transferred to any state.

I think the car would be a great vehicle for someone to "make it his own" as a daily driver.

I just reread the ad..... He doesn't claim "auto air" ...... It's 318, automatic, with A/C....!
Never mind...... my bad.

On fenders R&R, the grill, valence, and inner fender have to come off. The hood and hinges have to be removed. And then everything has to be installed and realigned. It's a bear of a job. My guess is that some rust or an accident forced someone into doing it. As far as valuing the car, it would be nice to get someone on the scene to check out the front subframe/undercarriage. I bought my car thru eBay without an inspector, but it didn't have the type of discrepancy that RWC pointed out and that Bill confirmed.

However, I still think the car looks nice enough for someone to save. With 1952 of the 1970 Fury convertibles made, the car is worth saving, even if the front subframe needs to be replaced.
