1970 Fury III

Great looking car. Not sure what the issue is with the roof. Looks fine to me. Can someone explain?

There is no issue with the roof. It's the preference for one style of roof over the other

There are different roofs for the 2dr.

The formal
The fast top.

First car in this topic is one with the formal roof ( more space for people in the back )
The GT in this topic is one with the fast top. ( not only GT does have them !! ).

Interesting. I guess I never noticed the difference until you pointed it out. I have a '70 Sport Fury which apparently has the "Fast Top", and a '71 Chrysler 300 with the "formal roof". I also have a '70 Fury III convertible and a '71 T&C wagon so I guess I've got all the bases covered!

Your 71 300 must be a 4dr , there are no Chrysler 300 2 dr fuselage cars with the formal roof.

We think you have done well!

Beautiful car, welcome to the forum.

Very nice car, congrats!

Not a "fast top" Save that nomenclature for 67/68 cars.
The literature simply refers to them as formal or standard tops.
