If your doing it yourself and your labor has no value... I agree with 1/3 to 1/2 as a high mark. If you ever try to sell before its running and looking good, pennies on the dollar... maybe even less than scrap value when scrap is high. I agree with most of what is said... with one exception. Those of us who have room for only 1 or 2 cars and have the intention of "keeping them forever"... It is a hobby or obsession that you will have to measure value in the enjoyment you get working on it and occasionally using it and maybe just having it.Let me ask...we asked what my car is worth as is....what does FCBO think its worth restored?!? Not a trailer queen resto, but a correct restoration that one could drive and enjoy?
