1970 Hurst 300...killed

nope. Lower miles, nice Phoenix car, but not 10k. I almost bought it, as it had been in a garage for 25 years, and the owner passed. he had a 69' charger as well, and I did buy that.

:coffee2:I can't get bigger pictures, even from that site. Hard to say by the pictures if that isn't turned over. it looks aged. My friend keeps copies of Vin#s. my curiosity is getting to me.:coffee2:

Just to be sure, you are saying your friend's car had more than 10K miles then, right?

yes it did. It was super clean, but an obvious Phoenix car. I have been trying to remember exactly when I saw it, as I was going to Phoenix every three months, as my whole family lived there, and I always brought out a car. 2000-2001 seems about the time.

The Chrysler 300 Club roster says the Wilcox couple resided in Michigan and a post said they had it quite some time, so maybe they bought it out of Arizona back in that timeframe. So I guess they were at an Arkansas meet and were on their way home when this happened.

Sad in any case, Hopefully they both recover..There aren't too many of those around, I'm 500 miles from it, and am considering it. I have an NOS clip for that car, (no grille, though) and a 68' front subframe. I hope they are the same,,,,But that car would be a lot of work. Emphasize LOT.

Being hit that hard would that have a ripple effect through the whole car you think?
