I asked for it but never not get an answer/pics.....when i looked today it was gone , also all the pix.....i found a few back on google/kijiji.

As per the 1970 dealership data book, it is gator grain -- thanks as always to the good folks at the Hamtramck Registry for their Library:

Makes me sick to think back to a 70 Monaco coupe I yanked a 440 out of for my 65 Coronet 500. It was loaded to the gills and IIRC had buckets and a console . Nice car.

Yeah, we've all likely done it. They were $200.00 cars back then. I did the same thing to a 69 Polara 500 with buckets, solid car in 1984. Little did I know the 383 I was pulling was a 1971 built for 72 400HP . That poor car seemed to have had a bad 15 years before me.

He's a 70 in a yard I grabbed the tag and found 2 mint broadcast sheets with the carbon copy still. You can see V1G and it's a Windsor built car also.
