1970 Plymouth Fury 3 383

I work in food, cereal and snacks, and we had to become ISO 14000:2015 or something like that, I can correctly number it later, but I digress. Walmart is the reason we went that route, as our customers want to be on Walmarts shelves, and this certification is a requirement of Walmart. We are a Walmart compliant shop. Not govermment, not the customer themselves, but an end market retailer. They make the rules, and companies will follow, or lose business and fail.

My company produces a few products that might have that stress put to them, but they aren't big volume ones for us. We just had to have our whole plant certified, which meant we lost the styrofoam cups in the break room.

I hadn't heard that particular one but the generality has always been there and it's one reason I abhor doing business at Walmart - I routinely drive 30 miles to avoid their "Superstore" in my town.

Wow I guess in a round about way I'm guilty as well. I refuse to buy any food items from Walmart mostly because I don't see how a junk store can be sanitary. I do however shop at Superstore, which is part of the Loblaws empire up here in Canuckville. A few years ago I noticed the gallon jars of Vlasic dills. I don't remember the price, but they were cheap. I love large dills, I slice them for burgers and have been know to just eat one like a Popsicle. My daughter also loved them so we would burn through a jar pretty quickly. I saved the monster jars for home made pickles and had one reserved for pickled eggs. About a year ago the gallon jars disappeared from the shelves and also from the Vlasic web site. I guess there isn't any point asking Vlasic to bring it back.

A tidbit, Vlasic pickles are imported from India. So what do the pickles actually cost to produce and did anyone actually lose any money at $3 a gallon? They were good pickles!

There`s room for much more than only one C-body in Finland. Keep selling them to here guys/gals!

As much as I appreciate you guys taking care of our cars for us temporarily until we MAGA, I'd appreciate it even more if they just stayed here in the first place.
Unfortunately, money talks.
You gots. Us no gots. Feels like we're being plundered by fer-ners.
But I don't hate or even dislike you. Honest. I just hate the circumstances we drove ourselves into.

But do not gloat like that in front of us. Be sympathetic and keep it to your godamm self.
Rub my nose in it and I'll burn the suckah before I sell it to you.

Money talks? I quess it's more about common sense. You guys are hesitating to buy cars if they are 500-1000 usd above the market price. I can see those comments too often when reading For Sale -forums. We live only once - just do it.

Commando, I am very sorry if I made your day a bit (or a lot) worse feeling-wise.

I'm sorry, but your comment and attitude just pissed me off. For years, in Canada, we've had to deal with big American business buying up all our "nice" companies and natural resources, sucking out the assets and dumping the shell and littering country side with unemployed workers. We got zero sympathy. Now that others are doing it to you, you cry unfair. You say " Rub my nose in it and I'll burn the suckah before I sell it to you.", well maybe so, providing you can afford to buy it in the first place.

It boils down to "Money talks, Bullshit walks"

You talking or walking?
