1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible ,please read the whole post, this vehicle has been in a barn for 20+ years it was running when parked,it has not been started, and will not be started ,it’s being sold As-Is,it may be sold for more or less than the posted price because we are excepting offers locally we do have a title, thanks

If they are excepting local offers does that mean a prospective buyer needs to be from out of town?

My understanding is the ad is kinda like an Ebay ad that gets viewed on the the worldwide web and they are accepting local offers.

If the owner as emotional attachment to the car, they may not want to see it used or abused. So they may not want it locally owned. Just a thought. Lindsay

"we are excepting offers locally" my take on a statement like that is they have someone in the neighborhood that is "on the fence" about the car (and maybe has been for years) and just needs a little 'Incentive'.

Yes, my prior comment was rooted in sarcasm for the seller's poor use of English words.

For whatever reason, I missed this one when it was listed 2+ years ago.

@fury fan @Mr onetwo @70 Sport Suburban -- any of you catch the tag? Looks like a rare turquoise car. My guess is it came with a 318 (given the lack of markings)?

Holy blast from the past, Batman!
I did not harvest any info on this one.
There were no 360s in 1970, and no 340s in C-bodies, so presumably this carries a 318.
