I bet he didn't... seemed like a half dozen relistings to get to the current one... never wavered on price. The mind is set, the car must be worth it...

BTW, louvers... :BangHead:
Dual 4's... :BangHead:
I bet it would have sold better without his "improvements":soapbox:

Both hood and intake are small issues. Takes one weekend to fix or change those. Roofline is bigger problem. At least for me.

Paisley vinyl and dual quads.

Geez Stan, first a reckless Nancy Pelosi innuendo and now this??? :wtf:
It's the internet dude, it's always dinnertime for some poor reader. :poke:

Paisley vinyl top that matches the upholstery, now THAT's groovy. These are even more rare than the "mod-tops" on Barracudas a couple years earlier.

I bet they built a lot of brown and beige Gran Coupes, more than Mod Tops, anyway. Or a lot more have survived?

I quess REJECT was as default from EBAY ad settings. I didn't contact seller personally.
A 'price or best offer' can be set up by the seller to automatically reject any offer below a user-chosen amount.

This one has been on there a few times, and is gonna take a little while to sell, IMHO the hood louvers are the toughest part. Finding another '70-only hood (and then with or without the TS in it as needed) and getting a paint blend isn't a weekend job, and gonna cost at least $500 all-in.

Yeah, there were a lot of these, way more than a Mod Top or Floral Top.

I went through a period where I wanted one, that didnt last long.

This is back up for sale. Didn't see what the eBay price way in 2016, many other threads about this car so don't know which way this price is going. I think I remember it at around the 10k range. Oh wait the 2 year old eBay ad is still up. 10k is right. (this guy is on drugs) Looks like it had a 6 month run on eBay up to 12k price and no sale.

Immaculate 1970 Plymouth Fury Gran Coup. Excellent Condition. 96515 miles. Yellow Cream color. This fury had only one owner. Was only driven once a month while he was away in Vietnam. The owner was an Engineer for GM. He designed the quad 4 and was one of the chief engineers for the Oldsmobile Aerotech. Has a modified 383, not the stock cam shaft. Updated Cooling system, Electric fuel pump, Duel Carburetor, Hidden headlights. Has the original Vinyl top, and Seats in pristine condition. This Fury was very well taken care of. Runs beautifully

Engine bay is awful dirty for 'Like New' condition, think this ad's story line is a little different too

Looks like he dropped the price to $18500. It's a steal now,... NOT. He must think he has a B-body instead of a C-body.

I really dig the Gran Coupes (to use the lingo of the time) and that one has to be one of the best ones out there despite the hack job on the hood. However at 18.5K,I'm definitely out.
At 10K,I'd be interested if I was looking to buy another 70 Fury but I don't need that one that bad to pay that kind of money.

Give'em a call since I've been following this the price has been all over the place, 8k to now what 21/18k. Oh scratch that, no number in the CL ad. If it's the same owner, appears to be as all I've seen is this Stillwater OKie ad.
