Wow! Beautiful Cougar! You have certainly proven a car can be made to look like a low mileage cream puff with constant care and cleaning with attention to detail. However the Fury in this thread doesn't look like it's had that care. The paint isn't particularly shinny indicating it hasn't seen a coat of wax in awhile. The instrument cluster is dusty and the tires haven't been cleaned and dressed. Again without an in person inspection we don't know how many miles this Fury has on it but it doesn't look like it's been made to look like anything other than what it is.

I want to drive up and look at it, when I can get some time off my jobs....it's only about 40 minutes from my brother's house.

i don't see anything that points away from 9000 miles. interior spotless, no visible pedal wear, chrome on dash has a nice shine, headlights look original, etc. underhood pictures might tell more of the story.

I also choose that the mileage looks legitimate based on what I see. Odometer numbers nicely aligned, doorpanels show no warpage at the edges, barely-noticeable wrinkling in the vinyl seat's edge, interior colors look crisp, body side trim aligns perfectly.

If it was impeccably cared for to look this good at 109k, the fanaticism stopped at least a few years ago.
