With wheel dollies...there's room behind the rear bumper.

Who did the steering wheel restoration?

Yep wheel dollies, there's five to six feet of room to the left of the door. Dennis Crooks of Quality Restorations in Poway CA. restored the wheel,truth is the wheel was so bad he had to recaste it.

Well thats an outstanding job. What does a wheel restoration cost, roughly?

A grand.....(I can hear everybody groaning as they read this!)I know I'm crazy but try to find one,the last one I saw on ebay went for $800.00 and it had hairline cracks. I'm just glad it wasen't a translucent wheel from the late 50's early 60's,some of those are more than double my price.

You'll never find another one that doesn't need a restoration. That restoration is perfection!
