Thanks Matt , I think is a great wagon for the price i like himThat's a very nice wagon.
Ya is special the original owner was thinking the burgundy is pretty lol.1978 Chevy Caprice?

Ya the original owner was after a big block Challenger in 1970 but his wife was totally against a Challenger is not a good Family vehicle and she was the person who picked the wagon and he picked the big block for the car.wow a "L" code vin for low price class, that would explain the rubber floormat which I never seen on a non fleet car
I'm pretty sure it's because as cool as the '70 hood looks, it's not as strong because it doesn't have a windsplit down the center. I noticed that years ago when I had to re-bond the skin to the hood frame on one of those. With the bond broken, the skin was a wobbly oil-can kinda thing, if that makes sense. Why they only used that hood for one year is beyond me. Nice wagon and a very fair price it seems.
dangit! Stupid quotes not working with me.[/QUOTE]I'm fixed on my 71 300 U code power sunroof car what I'm planning to restore.
That is a beauty! I wish I had some room at the inn but no. I need to concentrate on the projects I already have. One of which is a practical twin of your 300. Thread coming soon, resto showdown? Just kidding. How goes digging up those long separated parts?
Is going great the only thing what's missing at the moment are the front seats , and I started to collect parts
for the 300 I'm not sure if I keep my other 71 300 sunroof car I think it has to go in the next few months. I'm planing to keep my 69 New Yorker and
the 300 u code and my Challenger that's good enough for toys. all my other ones have to go.
