That's a super motor ,the guys taken a bit of time on his description of the car , I don't think the photo's do the car justice

Nice color and nice looking car

something something with the pass door and dash covering

Very nice, love the color!

I"m not bitching about it. Just observing

Seats are no biggie .. can easily be recovered with new covers. Most 40 year old cars, with vinyl seats even low mileage pristine ones have dry rot and will need new covers as soon as someone starts driving it much. Observation .. seems leather seats fare better as far as the stitching holding up goes or I could be totally wrong.

Dash looks better that way than cracked but it would need to be addressed to be as nice as the rest of the car, or not if the new owner is fine with it.

The door appears to be out of alignment or bad hinge or both. I doubt the trim is mis aligned.

I only made the the something something comments from conditioning on FCBO ... someone was going to

Clean looking C!

Looks like it might need door hinges rebuilt. Valence end caps under rear bumper tweaked, or not aligned with quarter repair? Are those door panels stock?

Ok, while trying to look at what the stock interior for this car should be I was on Hamtramck Historical and fuselage.de.

Some Gran Coupe info and pics at the bottom here. http://fuselage.de/index.html?http://www.fuselage.de/ply70/

Spring of 1970 saw a new mid-year model called the "Gran Coupe". It was based on the 1970 Plymouth Fury II two-door sedan but had more standard equipment including air conditioning and the Sport Fury grille with its concealed headlights. Most noteable were the vinyl roof and the interior upholstery with their Paisley pattern. Although most Gran Coupes had a copper tone paint, other exterior colors were available.

Dash has had been recovered with vinyl. You can see the stitched seams.

How can you tell it's not a magnum . It says it in the log book description 383magnum it's also got the TNT magnum air filter

He read the VIN

It's not a Magnum..... a simple L code two barrel engine

Homer posted the breakdown in comment #8

The VIN contains the engine designation in the 5 digit

I see you guys are on the ball If I was buying that I would have been taking for a mug for not checking the vin I suppose that tells you everything about a car it's like an exray tells you lots

It tells you some but not all. When buying a car like this you need to check the fender tag to see the options it was built with. Though this is a nice looking car it may not really be as others have pointed out

Agreed and even then you need to be careful since the car could have been re-bodied. Case in point my Monaco which has major parts from at least 3 cars.

seen lotsa posers with pie plates on vehicles they shouldn't be on...car picture pretty but lotsa hidden stuff
