No big deal. I had a problem with my server last fall, and many posts to the FBBO never posted, or were out of order. I have a new computer now, but a few things still going on I fear!:laughing4:

You want me to copy and paste your quote over mine? You know, just for bragging rights....

Seems to be painted in that "Seafoam Turquoise Metallic" shade allright, but this shade was not offered in 1970 (offered in 1969, with "Coral Turquoise Metallic" available in 1971).

The closest to a turquoise shade in the 1970 colour choices was "Frosted Teal Metallic", per this car formally owned by Thrashing Cows (hey mate, hope its ok to use your pic, spotted it on the Dry Dock. BTW, I wonder how many cars had that painted roof, not vinyl...? Must be rare, am chasing a 1969 model):

Hi,

in there was (E)Q5 in 1969.
It was not available in 1970.
In 1970 they had FP6 teal (way darker, just as can be seen in the pic above)
They sales were not good so during the 1970 model year they introduced FQ5 which was still available in 1971.

So it was possible to order a Coral turquoise 1970 Fury.
In my opinion the car is painted that colour

Carsten

It's a stunner of a motor the white top sets the colour of nice and those chrome hub caps with the black wheels also make the car stand out aswell

Let's see a picture of he fender tag and we'll be able to tell what the original color code is for the car.
