You the man!Video chat with the FK5 went well. I didn't see anything that told me to run. The seller and I made a deal. The car will be getting pulled out in the next week or so and I'll have a truck out there to bring it home.
But not so beat as to let Robbie drive it =)There is wisdom in roadkill.
Get out there enjoying them.
Don't build them so nice you won't drive them. My dad did that to the charger, so since the day I inherited it I've been making it less nice by driving it =)
Exactly. I like melting tires. I like blasting down gravel roads. I had a nice survivor for a little while. Terribly un-enjoyable. Not to mention it drove like crap. There is wisdom in roadkill.

I have my limits, this one is way past that. That's okay. Not everything needs to be a full tear down to be an enjoyable car.
"Power over paint."
"Don't get it right, just get it running."
"Beaters are neater"
These are mottos I tend to live by.
I understand. It deserves saving and I see the diamond in the rough.I have my limits, this one is way past that.
It doesn't matter how much time and money I put into my cars I drive them like daily drivers.

Doors are beautiful, trunk lid is beautiful, passenger fender is nice with a scrape up front. Hood is nice. Not a solid or straight panel on that car.
I was after this car for one reason. My dad needs a Polara. And we like 70s better than 71s. His old car was a 70 Polara Custom. It was B3 with a white top and white buckets T code car loaded up. This is the perfect car to add a white top and white buckets to. I already have most of the metal it will need.Knowing Wyatt, he wasn't after that car for that reason.
That car had been neglected and disgarded for years. He's making into something that will be enjoyed and driven.
Good for him.
