Lots of really rough looking 70 convertibles lately.

IMO.
They all need to go to one location to be parted throughly or pieced back together to be more appealing as viable projects.

Yeah, I've often wished there were some means for incomplete/rough cars to be collected and the roughest of them used to make others better.
Sounds like a JY, but I'm talking about what 71Polara383 is talking about.
It's just not financially practical.
