These are pics his helper took.

Interior was decent, seam split in driver seat, and a new carpet would be nice.

Checking the top operation. It was snowing like crazy at this point, so I didn't take it down all the way.

Some videos of it running. Not the greatest audio. Car actually run pretty well since it hadn't been run in a long time.

So... Has he budged on the selling price?
Who knows? The owner was really sentimental about the car, but sentimentality and what it's worth are always different.

As I said before, he's high on the price... But!! If you really wanted a B7 blue Polara vert with a white top that might be a good price.

The car is solid and I would say that $1000 and some TLC would give you a running, driving car. It will need tires and fluids etc. Probably go through the brakes and suspension. Some clean up, and maybe a new carpet would make it very presentable. Bodywork and paint along with chrome will easily take it up over $20K, but it could be a really nice car.

B7 is hard to resist . It is dying for white buckets

The bench in these cars are brutality uncomfortable. Especially for a tall person. The 71 was improved but still, once you've sat in the buckets, it's all over

So he came down 5 hundred.

I'm thinking it may be worth it
That's what he was asking last year.

I think he decided he wasn't going to be able to sell that car in the winter and just took it off the market until now.

you want to put a 1971 dashboard in Dave?:D:D:D

35 years ago that was the plan. Up until about 10 years ago that was the plan. Once I realized the rarity of the animal that thought went away.
Everything about it was to be 71. Now, I've got bigger fish to fry.
