The 1970 Sport Fury GT came with the standard 350 HP engine and it was blue with standard exhaust manifolds. The only option was the 6 bbl. with the orange engine and performance exhaust manifolds. Chrysler did not offer the HP 440 single 4 bbl package with the performance exhaust manifolds in 1970, but did make that engine standard in 1971 on the SFGT.

Ok, so other than the fender tag confirmation this could very well be a Sport Fury GT, with either a stripe delete or just plain worn out or removed stripes.

Why is the one in the top picture lettered differently on the hood? I don't remember ever noticing that on any before. Also I want the black one...

the first car with the small "Plymouth" letters/script in the front center of the hood is a pilot car, pictures were taken from it by Chrysler itself. Final production saw the different huge lettering we are used to.
