I'm also friends with John, and live right up the street from him. I looked at the car in person, so I could probably answer most questions that anyone may have about the condition of the car.

One curious thing that I noticed about the car is that it doesn't have the "PLYMOUTH" letters on the hood.

Jeff, you've got mail. I think that the hood was replaced early on it the car's life as it also does not have the decals on the hood.

I am not sure what I will do yet, but if I was to put a 383 back in, it would have to be a 70 stamped engine (F383 I believe). Depends on what year it is I guess, let me know more details.
