1971 300

Will do. Was going to pick it up this weekend but it looks like the arctic blast is real and happening.
Guess I'm gonna have to wait til later next week.
Weather sucks.

Just a rough estimate, there's at least $2000 worth of parts there, not including more unusual sales like roof sheetmetal, dutchman, etc.
Even more $$$ if engine and trans are rebuildable and not visually/obviously junk.

But for a project car? I wouldn't pay more than $1000 for it as you'll need a $3-4000 parts car to make it whole.
And you'd still have a huge project staring you in the face.
Basket-case cars are the most expensive things you can buy.

The motor was taken apart 20 years ago and is in a garage.
Not sure about transmission.
Not sure about grill or front fenders yet.

As I recall he said the motor had some type of issue.
What would the motor and trans be worth to add to the car if I can't get him to add it for the price already.
Hate to leave the motor for the car sitting there without the body.

A decent core would be worth $500, core with issues, idk, depends on how good you are with mechanicals. If this is a complete car with all the pieces and decent sheet metal it’s worth gathering it all together. Take inventory and see what’s missing, you can always decide what to do later on. Just looking at the pics, there are already a number of hard to find ‘71 only parts there. I wouldn’t pass it up. Could be a fun project as long as you don’t go down the rabbit hole looking to make a show car with NOS parts.

The 440 non HP w/o knowing Block, cyl head, crankshaft condition value w/ correct date codes maybe 500.00. Transmission complete w/ convertor core value 200.00. Other missing pieces carb , trans crossmember, alt-starter do impact the overall value.
