I'm hoping to find more parts for it.
Hoping to get the motor and matching parts as well.
Who knows though. Retired. Hasn't offered the extra parts, yet.

I put this into the fuselage discussion page so we could discuss what any of us might want or do with the car.
Probably ok to say you wanted to marry it and have kids with it. But purchase it for parts? No waaay!

When we are having a specific discussion where I asked what opinions are of the car I expect lots of folks to say they want it.
If it were a for sale ad I totally get not having a discussion about the car.
But in this instance I am asking for those discussions. The amount of people asking for parts from the car have given me an idea of what the actual value to this car is. The folks asking about parts are a TRUE representation of the worth of the car.
If no one was asking for parts, I would not want to pick the car up and put it in my personal yard.

I think some organization is good but in an opinions thread and discussion thread I actually would like to have all the opinions out there. Even the NO guy's opinion. Even if it's only a no or a yes or your all jack asses and I'm right. Still gives me something to go on.

The car isn't for sale. It's not in the sale ad. lt's able to be discussed. I've said it's not for sale. All those folks gave me a tally for the actual real world value for the car. Without that I would not understand that a car with no rust is basically worth 2500 bucks to the rest of the States that are rust havens.

the problem is, all too often, people don't voice their concerns, they ***** because they don't like our decision and usually they haven't considered anything but themselves, or they just want to start crap by trying to skirt the rules and then complaining when they get caught..

See - now I can easily read that as you are looking to see if there is enough interest in the parts for you to buy it -- making it a pre sale ad. And others seemed to think the same since they offered to buy parts off of it. (posts deleted)


So now the best thing for you to do is try to see it from our side, not just your own.
