They are available but prices are very, VERY high. You will be lucky to find one below $200. In the extreme, it can be cheaper to get a parts car for its bottle. To wit, I once bought a 1971 Monaco to get a good washer bottle (together with a few other parts).

Thank you for the information.

I assumed it would be relatively costly when I learned they are not reproduced.

I just missed buying a 71 fury parts car a month ago. I know the guy who bought it. I will check with him to see if it has a good bottle.

When you reach out, could you please ask him for a photo of the fender tag?

The problem is the placement in the car, if you work on the engine then they get leaned on. Especially spark plug changes.

I took mine off and put it in the trunk for safe keeping,

What condition you looking for? I have some really nice ones and some with blemishes that could be fixed up. Shot a message if you want some pic's.

After speaking with the intended user of the car I have ascertained that we are after a functional bottle not in need of repair. Hopefully that helps narrow the selection.

What we have now is pitiful.

The part number for your '71 car is 3431154
So the washertank for sale on Facebook with part number 2932830 will not fit? Looks good to me but I don’t really know cause I can not compare since I don’t have the original washertank in my car

The tank in the FB ad is a ’69 tank. The lot @70 Sport Suburban shows the correct (obsolete) tank for ’70 to ’73. - I bought mine from Murray Park. Paid $150 plus shipping and taxes. That added up to about $300.

Thanks for the explanation… going to consider if 300 dollar is the amount I am going to pay for a washer tank
