The OP 300 would look killer with whitewalls in place of those barely-white-lettered blackies on there now.

A car I bought back in 1989 had Michelin X tires on it, with black letting about that size.
I could be wrong, but I think those letters were painted, I've never seen a the Michelin X in a RWL.
I don't know when the X went OOP, but my bet is those tires are 30+ years old.

3 of 4 doors have a notch in the kick-carpet, #4 is straight and stitched along the top. I don't know which is correct, and it would not bother me, but it's an odd discrepancy nonetheless.

As for the rest of hte car, needing headliner, having mis-matched paint, and needing general awakening - @Sport Fury 67 covered all of that nicely.
Based on all of that, IMO $12k is too much. Maybe $8000?

Why anyone would have a 2-door as a family car, I haven't a clue. My dad had a '76 Torino 2-door as our daily when I was a kid, and he swore it would be his last 2-door because it just made no sense.

My mother was afraid that I or my brother would accidentally open a door and fall out. (Probably because it happened to her as a kid: leaned against the door and it popped open. It was a 1920-something Durant and presumably didn’t have two-stage latches.)

Okay, I can see that; that's actually good logic in the pre-safety lock era.

The ones with the notched carpet are 1970. The one without the notch is a 1971
