This si the 2nd time for this to sell. Seller had another no-reserve vehicle sell 3 times, so maybe something fishy. It's been years since I sold a car on ebay, and never had a problem with buyer backing out. But maybe things have changed, and maybe I got lucky.

I meant $7k. Could of went for less outside the auction. Its funny, when it sold for the second time, the seller responded to me saying "He gave me a $1000 deposit!" I think there may have been more than one deposit on this car...

There are people out there with more money than they need, or maybe more money than sense.
Years ago I sold an Olds diesel engine on ebay for a buddy. Buyer paypaled payment, we waited about 2 months thru a bunch of delays/excuses from the buyer, gave up on him, and listed it again. Same thing happened again. That was a profitable engine for my buddy. Both guys paid in full, never made any real effort to show up, and never even hinted about a refund either.
In the old days, you could give a non-completion buyer a negative feedback, and people could see the bidders names, so if you wanted to do some detective work to figure out the truth, you could. Not any longer...

You know,the last New Yorker i had i drove to the junkyard and handed over the title all for 25.00.Why?Because i would not lie to people about it,s trans. and engine issues.I had debt and had to let it go.That was in 93.You have nothing but your word.It may not mean much to some of our so called leaders,but in the end,that,s all you,ve got.B.B
