For sale is an original 1971 Chrysler New Yorker. This was my father's "baby". He was the third owner and owned it for about 20 years. This was the car that we drove on Sundays to church or other nicer events. All mechanics are origninal. There is only 78582 original miles. This car had a new paint job about 10 years ago and considering the age still looks really good. There is some surface rust, nothing major. All the lights, indicators and switches work. All the glass is in good condition and has tinting that was professionally done, no bubbles. Trunk, hood and doors all open, lock and close with no issues. Tires are newer but the car has set a whole year. The back drivers side window has a track issue. It will lower about 6 inches then jump out of the track. Currently it does not run but, to get it running will require minimum work; new starter, battery and some gas. We have had no major issues with this vehicle and it passed emissions and safety every year we had it. It safely and successfully made it over 5000 miles, from Utah to North Carolina and back in 2009. My dad passed away and this vehicle is no longer functional for us. Instead of just letting it sit I would love to sell it and give it a new home to someone who would treat it as well or better than my dad. Still have the original owners manual and hub caps. I offer no warranty on the car, it is being sold as is. I am asking $7000 or best offer.
