Nice and mean looking, reminds me of what my parts car would look like:

Strangely, I like the Centerline-style wheels and white letters on this. Very cool driver.

Love it. Might be the first time I've ever liked Centerlines!

I'd drive it....right to the wheel store. I do love it though.

Hi. I own this car. I've watched this site for years and seen quite a few of my cars get "commented" upon. on the wheels, what would have made better choice? we all have our favorite wheels/tires combos, so i am just curious what some of you are seeing out there or have on your fuselage C-bodies other than factory wheels.

Nice car. I think most are split on the wheels, I like them. Some people here prefer the Road Wheels, sorry for the crappy picture:

BTW, What's the reserve? Hope you do well with it!

James

hi James. i like the road wheels too. i have a bunch of sets of them, but as you know the widest they are are 15x6.5. which is cool..good enough for my '70 Hurst 300 so good enough for this one for sure :). i wanted something in a 15 inch and wide as possible but still clear the rear quarter for this car. as to the auction, its got ways to go. we'll see what happens in a couple days. could be some late action on it. you never know with these things. Ray

Welcome to the site fellow Michigander. I'm not a fan of those wheels and never have been but I do know that they have been a popular choice for years. Ignore me, everyone has opinions....
BTW, what's with your MI location and the car being in NY??

That car is sweet. I would swap the wheels to a set of Torq Thrusts just to finish off the mean look.

metro detroit..northern suburbs. i used to live in NY a long time. most of the fleet is still there..too many things to move. :)

i like the torq thrust II's. i gotta set laying around that might work. if i still own it this summer, i'll toss a set on see how she rolls at the Dream Cruise on Woodward. thanks

How come you sellin her anyway?....thinning out the fleet?

There are quite a few wheel & tire combinations that I like. This one has to be one of my absolute favorites though. :) It's more or less the look that I'm after, but in a different color scheme.

Now that I like !!!!! There was a guy near me with a 69 Fury III Vert with the same color scheme. although he had a nice set of wire wheels and white walls on it. I do like these wheels & tires.
