Not mine. The seller is asking for $7.5k on FB. Unless I am mistaken, this looks suspiciously like DL43K1D225317 -- a car that was for sale in Tennessee, just north of the current location, last December. I seriously considered buying but ended up passing on because of limited time/space for refurbishing at the time. The previous owner was asking for $4k...

Other than the hubcaps, the steering wheel trim re-attached using black tape, the covered up steering wheel rim, and a new radio/speakers installation (I'll let folks judge -- it sure is not what I'd do to my own cars), the two cars are too similar for them not to be one and the same. Frankly, I would be floored if they were not. To wit, the driver seat tears and the dash cracks are in the exact same locations on both cars.

If I am correct, then I don't know how one justifies the price doubling. FWIW, the car was in good mechanical condition seven months ago. It had been properly repainted in the correct GB2 color but I could see a couple of bubbles in the lower door panels (which is one reason why I passed).

looks like same car to me too ayilar.

no view on the price from me, cept the $4K looked OK in December 2019. not seeing anything now suggesting a big seller investment in the past 8 months.

new seller looking to make money is cool by me. in the end the market will sort all that out. we'll see

nice car with potential for DD status. hope it gets a good home.

I agree on all counts @amazinblue82 -- it's a free country, and at the end of the day money talks.

Still, for someone like myself, all the "improvements" mean that the car is now worth less than it was last Winter. "All" it needed then to make it a nice, period-correct DD would have been new WW tires. That's it! I like my cars in better shape before I drive them, though, so I would have had the seats reupholstered, the dash pad replaced (I sourced one at the time), and a couple of blue armrests replaced -- and gotten the A/C to work. Boom, done. Realistically, $7.5k in parts and labor and she would have been great (at least for a few years, till the rust got out). Now I'd have to undo a few things before rebuilding.

A car in excellent original condition like this 1971 GF3 Polara 4dr sedan in Marquette, MI (currently for sale at $5k on FB) would push my buttons much more strongly. But I am not into GF3 or sedans, so I am passing on that one too.

I saw both of these . I considered the green car for about two minutes. The blue car? NO!

Wonder if the rear window will stay in the blue car with the stereo cranked up? Mods did nothing to increase the value of this car. Just makes it more work for someone who appreciates the car to bring it back to original.

yeah Im with ya and aylilar on that .. ez fix but a "boom box" on the package tray wouldnt have been one of my design choices. hope any other things like that can be also easily reversed.

dont wanna speculate current owner's motivations .. his car/his money. :)

But those Pontiac hubcaps they put on it make it more like the LTD wagon in Close Encounters. Yuck. I agree, it did seem way more decent last year, other than the seats and wrong wheel covers.

I'm sorry to interrupt, but does anyone know if there is still a C Body show in Volo, IL. tomorrow?

Both the GB2 and the GF3 Polara are still for sale, prices unchanged. Here are a couple more photos of the GF3 Polara Custom for records. "From South Dakota. Never been drove in winter been stored inside only had 2 owners." Good for me that it is not GJ4...
