1971 Dodge Polara Custom

the Monaco would have came out on top if they lit up all the way across. They really missed an opportunity there.

Missed opportunity indeed. "Improving" the look of Medina's rear lighting is the one modification that I may consider for Medina, my '71 Monaco. Here she is, next to @sixpkrt's '69 300, during the 2019 CATL run. Full-width light strips would IMO be great on the Dodge.

And I prefer the slabsides over all of them(fuselage).

I came to this site with a large preference for the slabs, especially 67 / 68 Sport Fury’s and 300s, but my appreciation for the 70 / 71 / 72 Fusies SF, 300, NY, Polaras, And Monaco’s has really skyrocketed.

I think my personal number one now would be a 70 or 71 SF or police rig or convertible.

But still like all of the offerings.

It may be my might imagination but it seems like the interiors and exterior trim, like tail lights were more durable than say my 67 Sport Fury’s tail lights for example.

What is the backspacing on rear tires?

A former member's car. He said he used police rims 15x8 on 275/60's out back back in #47 post above. He wouldn't had done it if it didn't work Im sure as we was quite skilled.

That's an aftermarket wide for Mopar-style cop wheels with ears for dog dishes. And though its not listed, backspacing of somewhere around 4.0 inches (zero offset) would probably fit fine and look cool like this one.

That's what most folks report anyway (me included).

Exactly What Wheels & Tires Fit C Bodies?

A tire what big, on a rim that wide (section width nearly 11 inches), could be tight (suspension or quarter interference), so you might consider, if you havent, doing your measurements first of course on your car before you get committed.

good luck chief.
