1971 plymouth sport fury, this is a fairly rare car, car has some unique options for 71 , hideaway headlights only on the sport fury, headlight wipers and squirters, 2 speed rear defroster, low fuel warning light, am fm 8track stereo, power disk brakes, air, factory sport fury ralleye wheels , car just came out of a a private collection in Pennsylvania and is in very good shape, this body style is very hard to find today, motor is original 360 and runs exellent, just had complete tune up and new carburator and new fuel pump, tires are new , as well as the brake master cylinder, trans has been rebuilt, has had one repaint and a new vinyl top sometime in the past, car is not perfect but a very nice solid example of this body style

Yeah, I call shenanigans on this "car just came out of a a private collection in Pennsylvania".
It was for sale on CL in the Akron OH area a year or so prior to teh link from @ayilar. Is currently in MI.
Unless someone in PA bought it from OH, and the MI person bought it in PA - someone's trying to upsell a car as being collector-quality.

Looking back, it was likely a good buy at $6000 as Fusey coupes are increasing in value.
When I first saw it, it did have some cosmetic flaws and was 'only' a 360, so didn't excite me enough.
And some say the 29-roofline hurts further resale value.

I am guessing the current buyer/flipper got it at $4-5000, and has it priced really high so a brokerage house can 'steal' it at $8000 and try another flip at $15k.

The previous seller was obviously of the hostile variety and would not reply with any worthwhile information to inquirers. Buying this car was probably more hassle than expected for current flipper, thus the added "emotional baggage fee" to current sticker price on this "Prowler"......
