That thing is Shiny !!! Looks great!!
What a cream puff. A good scrubbing and it will be showroom! Congrats.
Is only Shiny because is wet lol, but it will shine when is buffed and waxed.
Ya nothing what a good detailing job can’t fix, I’m blowing away how nice the interior is everything is like almost new.
The dashboard has no cracks and is still soft and the washer bottle in the engine bay is also like new.

Also I'm starting to learn the differences between the 1969/1970/1971 Fury grilles. Oh 1967 & 68 were so much easier!

Appears to be the same color as the ‘70 F III convert I had 7-8 yrs, ago, there’s pics of that one on here somewhere, I think I had a FS ad here even. Sold to a guy near Scranton PA iirc. I think that one was the color called B7, my 4 dr was darker blue metallic.
Any other options on this F II?

Very nice car. I do so love the more basic versions over the fully optioned versions as they more represent what many bought in 1968, or 1971. When I went to Fun Ford shows the most common car there would be Mustang numbering at least 100. So many red, most all with a V8, and I would spend my time looking at the two original sixes which were extremely common in the day but got thrown away in later years. Plus this car has the LA 318-2V I'm assuming (tags not my strong point), which doesn't have the cache of a 383 or 440, but which I have always felt is one of Mopars best engines when it comes to legendary small blocks.

Yes is the only option it has 318 with power steering

Been thinking of another C would be great while I still can, but no more restorations at this point. How’s things in dry country, are you still doing paint & resto work? I really need to get out of NY one of these days. And go someplace warm one of these days.
Had to sell a ‘58 I had a couple yrs ago due to no PS, I’m too old anymore to wrestle with steering wheels. I have no problem with manual drum brakes my first car was a ‘63 Ford wagon with manual drums, just leave room for stopping.
Really like this F II. There was a ‘70 F II with /6 for sale in VT a year or 2 ago, super low mile, like 9K? tan, but no PS, or I might have considered it. Probably low mile ‘cos no one wanted to drive the thing.

Glad to hear you're doing good. Yeah we're all "gettin old". I'm retired and livin the good life. Sounds like this car would be great for you!
