1971 Plymouth Fury Grand Coupe - $3,200 (Huntersville)

To start off, this is a project car that with very little work will run and can act as a daily driver. I used it for my 30 miles each way commute for 2 months of the summer. Right now, I think it just needs work on points/distributor. It turns over, But there is no spark. If work slows down I may find time to mess with it.
I'd bought it as a project car for my son and I but we didn't get far before he left for college. It has a new radiator and in the trunk is an electrical fan with shroud to complete that change.
The paisley pattern for the gran coupe is truly something special. I was quoted 1k to get a new rag top shipped from SMS who still stocks it.
The engine is the 360cu V8.
You'll need to tow it out of here. Otherwise the pictures show the condition. I'm it's current state it is still a head Turner. I can't recall a single gas stop where people weren't checking it out or commented on it.

Well, I'm interested in this Fury, I tried to contact seller several times (this ad was also published several times) and finally I received one reply from the seller. Basically I've asked for VIN and maybe a few more pictures. I'd like to import this one to Poland, but it means I had to check it from formal perspective too. Assuming that floor panels and trunk are not devastated this is something I'm looking for: 4-door coupe, 360 (not 318), paisley roof top and upholstery. And all sort of trim pieces look in place. The rest I will manage. Anyone has an idea how to contact seller other than using Craigslist built in email communication? Visiting US just to purchase this one is at the moment out of option :)

Thanks, I've found this newer ad also. As I said - seller responded only once, so at the moment it is really hard to buy. But I will keep trying contact him
If I were you, I would ask for a video tour of the car. If the seller has a modern cell phone, then he can video-conference.

FWIW, I did that for three vehicles that I bought in the past 5 years: two that I ended up buying from halfway across the country after extensive FaceTime video calls with the owners (1996 Buick Roadmaster wagon in Boston, MA & 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in Harrisburg, PA) and one that I ended up passing on (a GY8 1972 NYB, which was great but I stepped back for a different reason).

Can you not call him?

Thanks, you won't believe, but I can't spot this number on the CL at all, and I'm registered and logged in. Maybe because I'm new CL user or maybe because I'm logging from outside of US, but there is a chance I'm kind of blind or not very smart :) Tricky contraption this CL is

Thanks again

And now, since I have a phone number a video call is most desirable option for sure, as @ayilar suggested. I would do it anyway, even if I had only 100 miles to go. Beside the car itself (worthy or not) I need to hire someone or a company, which will do the purchase on my behalf or he/they will purchase and sell it back to me. And arrange transport to NY or Miami, handle shipment from there, etc. This is kind of complicated and I'd like to be sure the seller is OK with this.

Thank you guys
