Sorry, I don't know the production numbers for either the '71 Gran Coupes or Gran Sedans but suspect that the production numbers were high and likely only surpassed by the Fury III. By the way, other colors were available and the brown paisley top and interior was not mandatory. I tried to buy a white one with a regular black vinyl top and a black interior about 15 years ago.

Thanks, FuryGT! I looked back thru the 6 or 7 71 GF listings I had saved and they all had it, all of the ones with sufficient pics to determine it, anyway. Even the beige Gran Sedan had it. So I learned something new today as well.

My '70 Gran Coupe is a 2 door sedan("B" pillar).

Garrett - definitely want the lower dash cover for sure, how much for the a/c stuff. It appears rough - but better than what I have which is nothing.. I know I can build an aftermarket system based on other threads here, but like to try and say original if possible. My zip is 53549 - let me know your thoughts on price and shipping.
