It is missing the fender skirts too. Didn't the Town and Country station wagons have skirts starting in 1972? If I'm correct the 1972 and 1973 are the only fuselage body years that had skirts on them.
You´re right. Only Plymouth Fury was available with fender skirts the whole generation of Fuselages of years 69-73. Dodge Polara and Monaco didn´t get them any year. Chryslers got them starting in 71(standard only on New Yorker then) and T&C got them 72, when the 300 wasn´t offered, but one was able to get either a Ny´er or a New Yorker Brougham. Imperial Crown and LeBaron had them as standard in 69, but not even as optional in 70. LeBaron had them as standard during 71-73.
Here is what it should look like Vinyl top, wife painted on wood grain, skirts, and roadwheels, owned 15 years, It sold the first day, now have this 94 Road Master and its just as nice and gets MPG in the 20s with its Vet LT1 !!
Well, folks, this '72 "NYer wagon" car is apparently back for sale on CL. The plates seem the same, here are some photos that were not posted before. Asking price is $7.9k.
PS: The headliner seems in good shape, but the seller captured his kid's head in the photo he posted so I had rather respect their privacy and not post that pic.
I let mine go way too cheap if this one is worth 8K in this condition, Id say more like 3K I still have an extra sets of skirts if the new owner wants to put them back on! I really think they look great with them and not so with out!
