Some of these cars have a rubber impact strip across the rear bumper, some don't. Is this due to production dates, or it it one of the differences between the Brougham and base models? See images below: Black car with strip; Gold car without. Thank you.

The impact strip as you call it is an option. If the car was ordered with bumper guards, it would have the rubber parts, if not, it will not have them.
